My girlfriend and I broke up about three months ago. We dated for about nine months(We started dating last valentines day). We still see each other a lot, talk on the phone, kiss, and still say I love you to each other. We both want to get back together, but she doesn't think it is what God wants right now. What can I do on Valentines day to help her want to date me again? Any ideas??

Well we actually took a "break" and when I talked about getting back together, she said God told her we can't right now. There was another guy she talked to like a month ago but they don't like each other anymore. She is very honest so we talked about all that. We both took the 14th off work this year to do something special, and so we would have the whole day together.

I was planning on a nice dinner some flowers, and going up to the top of a mountain with some blankets sitting in the back on the back of my truck, and just talking and listening to music or something..

IF she gets messages from God about you, well I think that God has better things to do then get involved with a relationship with two kids. Sounds to me that she is playing you and keeping you hanging. Get on with your life and make something out of yourself without her as she doesn't want to commit anyhow. My wedding Anniversary is on Valentines Day, and I give my wife some money and tell her to go out and do what she wants to, and that way I get some peace and quite for awhile.

Hi!
I feel that you two didn't really break up by the sound of it. From my point of veiw, if she doesn't want to get back in a relationship with you don't forcem her, give her time as she may be involved in something that she needs space to think and be free. And about Valentines day, give her a gift that shows you listen to her and appreciate her, such as jewellery with her favourite stone and metal eg: sapphire in white gold, or a single red rosebud with choccies. I hope this helps!!

Does this ex-girlfriend have a child?................Ok your not talking about my childs mother....thank god!!! My advice to you is to take her somewhere romantic and do something romantic...make sure you keep her spirits high....then afterwards give her time to miss you and let her call you on her own free will....or wait a week or 2 and ask to take her out...or hang out....continue this process for at least 4 more dates and by the 4th date she will be more interested in being with you!

When my boyfriend and I get into arguments...it helps a whole bunch for him to be himself, as well as show me that he loves me. Him and I have been together for almost two years now...

Dont worry about spending too much money because its whats in the heart that counts...but i'll add things that cost $$$ also.

Heres a few things my boyfriend does for me that drive me crazy(Crazy in a good way).
1. He leaves little notes on my car windshield while im at work, telling me that he couldnt wait till i got out of work for him to tell me how much he loves me.... or just saying I love you, see you later. Its so sweet...and it helps that hes saying whats on his mind.

2. He buys me flowers for no reason at all (its so ..traditional to buy a girl roses on valentines day...and yes, they're special on valentines day as well...but doing it at other times of the year "just becasue"...it makes me shiver)

3. Go out to eat, somewhere that you've never been before. My boyfriend, for our 1 year 6 month anavercery...he took me out shoping b/c he knew i didnt have any "nice" clothes (im not a realy dressy kinda girl)...and he was like, ohhh why dont you get this? and we picked out a really nice outfit...i didnt know why though...and he even bought it...which, i'd have prefered to buy it myself (thats just how I am)... and then the next morning he called me and said "be ready at four o'clock and make sure your wearing the clothes we bought yesterday"....he then took me to this resteraunt about an hour away from where we live....it was like an adventure...going so far away when we have MANY places at home. when we got to the resteraunt, i was VERY surprised. Afterwords we went on a haunted hayride becuase it was right around halloween. .....perhaps if your girlfriend HAS nice clothes you could just tell her "make sure you're wearing something dressy" instead of spending money on a whole new outfit if you dont have to.

4. Something I really love doing is swimming...I'm not on any kind of team or anything, i just enjoy doing it for fun. It is TOOO cold where I live to go swimming right now. My boyfriend found an indoor pool one day and we went swimming. it was only 2 dollers a person. he packed towels and soap and shampoo for the both of us so that we could shower afterwords (to get the chemicals off of us)...and then after swimming we went to the library and rented 2 movies (their free at our library..and they have all new movies!!).... we went home, and cuddled for the rest of the night. It only cost him 6 bucks for the whole thing..but it was so special!

Thers so many more.... if you'd like to contact me at anytime for more ideas please feel free to do so ... jlopez87@sbcglobal.net

She sounds like a good woman truly. Write her a poem and put it in a nice card for her and just leave it somewhere for her to find. Or you could do like me and stay home and do nothing as its just another day this year. Good luck with your situation, I had a similar one to yours and its not an easy place to be in.
