You have every right to be confused. The trinity is confusing to those who believe in it. According to the trinity doctrine, God is composed of the 3 divine persons--the Father, the Son, and the holy spirit. They are all considered to be God, but yet they are said to make up just one God. Such a teaching is not only confusing but it also goes contrary to what the Bible really says about God.

At Ps. 83:18, it says Jehovah is the Most High. At John 10:36, Jesus called himself the SON of God, not God. And instead of being equal to his Father, Jesus said at John 14:28: "The Father is greater than I am." That statement held true even after he went back to heaven. 1 Cor. 11:3 states: "The head of the Christ is God."

The trinity doctrine is not supported by Scripture. If you don't believe that, try and find one Bible verse that says God is made up of 3 co-equal, co-eternal persons. I can assure you that you will not find it.

Jesus is both the only begotten son of the Father & God in the flesh. He is considered a Son b/c He went through the process of being born to a human woman & being raised as any other child. He is also God incarnate with all aspects of God dwelling in human flesh. The doctrine of the trinity can be confusing but think about it this way. Water exists all at once as a solid ( ice ) a liquid & a gas ( water vapor ). All are equally water in chemical composition & none is less than water b/c it's in a different form. Jews & Christians believe in the same God but Jews reject Jesus as the Messiah. Allah was a Persian moon god. Ever wonder why the symbol for Islam is a crescent moon? Allah does not have the same attributes as God ( Jehovah ). Hope that helps.

Don't be confused.

God could have been a dozen persons in one, if he needed to be.

A Holy Trinity simply gets the job done perfectly, and since God is perfect, everything works out just fine.

The Father is always firmly in charge in heaven, the Son is free to come to earth and eventually become man, while the Holy Spirit has the power and freedom to be anywhere at any time, in order to perfectly accomplish God's divine will.

Three distinct and divine persons, always acting together in perfect unity, in one holy, complete, and all powerful God.

Imagine how much you could get done if you could split yourself into three.

Can't beat that!

The Holy Trinity ... God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Ghost) as one God is an impossible "concept" to prove. it is a mystery of the church.Jesus introduced it man ... many people from St. Peter, all of the popes, many theologians have tried to explain it. St Patrick of Ireland is the man who is best credited with bringing some semblance of understanding to mere mortal men. He used a shamrock (three leaf clover) to teach and covert the Irish to Christianity.
Like many things in religion ... there is no absolute proof. It is a matter of faith.

They are 1 God but in different forms. When He came to Earth in flesh He is called Jesus. God the Father is what He is called when He is simply overseeing, and making sure things fall into place, and He is called the Holy Spirit when He interferes with everyday life.

It's like my friend Bob who has three jobs. We call him Bob the Janitor, Bob the Mechanic, or Bob the Locksmith...but he is still just one Bob.

the three in this case = 1.
your face is composed from nose lips and eyes right? so is trinity. Lip is not separate part, but inseparable part of one whole.
So are father, son and holy ghost. They are considered to be one.

iT'S A MYSTERY THAT SURPASSES OUR REASON.

It means there's only one God but 3 distinct Divine Hypostases or Persons in the one Divine nature.

The Father , the Son and the Holy Spirit all are equally divine , almighty, eternal. but not 3 gods just one God.

The's also plenty of proof of it in the Bible. please check out the link.
