Hi there...back away very slowly, making certain eye contact is always visible and be sure not to trip and fall as this is an invitation to be attacked. If you run you are encouraging a chase which you surely will not be able to outrun. If you fall you are ... well, I'll let your imagination figure this out.

i would keep still move slowly to hide but always go out with protection or with someone who knows the bush or lions will have a treat

Make yourself as big as possible, spread out your coat, etc. Speak in a firm, yet reassuring voice... "good kitty, nice kitty", etc, and back away slowly.
The goal is to not identify yourself as prey. Having a god that cares about you would also help in that situation.

I understand the first thing should be to lower yourself slowly, get on all four, and possibly avoid moving after that. Fleeing is the worst thing, cuz' quick moves catch the eyes of any predator and arouse their instinct for hunting.
