According to the Mayan Calendar, its the day that the world will sort of 'end' on that day, with a majority of the civilisation perishing due to natural calamities (I forgot the type of calamity, but I think it was earth quakes)
Am waiting for that day!!

you mean the end of the Mayan calender ?
i think it is only that ... the end of their calender
people have speculated about it being the end of the world
others have said it will bring spiritual change
i see change happening , and i do feel this may be more correct out of the two
