This is from an English conversation book.
What is the meaning of "all the way " in this context?

Well probably like me.
People who miss the last train home or don't want to go all th way home only to turn around and come back to work again.

"All the way" tends to stress the length of the journey. All that long way; that long stretch of road, etc. etc. It means that it will be a lot of trouble to take that journey and it will hardly seem worthwhile to make the effort only to have to turn around again and do the same thing in reverse.
