Instead of shifting gears one at a time or according to the speed. Is it possible to shift two or more gears down when you are in ( perhaps ) 4th gear ? What will happen ?

It depends how many RPM's you are at, if your at 2000 rpms and down shift to 2nd from 4th, the engine will just slow down, if you downshift from 4th at 6000 rpms into 2nd gear, it's not very nice, you could blow your motor

You'll slow down! It's fine to shift from 4th to say 2nd. The decrease in speed won't be as gradual as if you drop one at a time and I'd suggest using the break.

That depends entirely upon your speed. If you're doing 25 in 4th and downshif to second, no big deal. If you're doing 80 and downshift to 2nd, you could damage your engine and trans.

What happens when you let off the clutch, the engine revs like crazy towards the red line, there is a significant jerk,, as the engine compressions brakes the car, the drive line winds up so hard the rear wheels may skid. you may crash, the engine may blow, the clutch may fail, or some other drive line component may fail, It's a weakest link in the chain scenario, the chain being the drive train.

Well, you can do that but it's going wear off your gears inside your gearbox easily. Is neccessay when only you are negoiating sharp turns sudddenly or you are racing right.Gonna apply the right techniques when driving. Safety first!
