Upper body workouts! I have same problem, and to me something like bench press or push ups help me.

Also, running /walking can also help lose cheek fat little bit.

UPDATE:

about your chewing gum method, I was told by my PE teacher that yes, it is THEORATICALLY possible. But at the same time, when you are chewing gum, you are also developing your jaw muscles. Also, chewing gum makes you feel hungry very soon, so you are eating more.

In conclusion, I would say "do not count on chewing gum." Do not chew gum often, but just excercise upper body work outs like bench press and bicepts workouts.

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as "spot" reducing, other than by cosmetic surgery. If you have excessive fat deposits on your body, only by loosing weight generally will you loose them. At 18, you are still growing and your body has not yet achieved it's final, adult state. You say you're not "fat", however you may well have some excess poundage.... Best to have your doctor check your body mass index (BMI) and give you a clear recommendation for fitness/weight goals.
