What-ever you do, DON'T GO. There is only one thing ruder than not turning up, and that's turning up late!
Wait until after the lecture, THEN go and talk to the lecturer directly. Apologise, explain the problem, and ask what you've missed but do NOT go late. You will interrupt everybody else!
In future, always ALWAYS aim to be 15 minutes early. You should be 15 minutes earlier for ALL appointments in life.

If you think you could learn something important in that last half an hour, go, but try to make as little a disruption as you can. If you think you won't really know what's going on or that you will cause a big disruption by arriving so late, it would be better to just skip it completely.

It does not matter how long you were late, even just for a minute, you should not go ahead. The fact that you are late tells the speaker/teacher how important you thought of his lecture.

I wouldn't go. That probably doesn't help now since the class is probably over, but for the future. I just wouldn't want to disrupt the class.

You've already missed most of the lecture. I'd say no. They won't be expecting any latecomers now.

You must go.
You must apologize.
You should give the reason if you really had one for being late.
You must promise to yourself and to your Professor that you will never be late again.
