I have had my puppy since she was 3 mo old and she has been in the room through a many smoking sessions but doesn't seem to mind. What specific effects could this have on her.

I would think, right off the bat, there would be the effects that a young child or young adult would take have to live with. Maybe less capacity for thinking? Maybe some motor skills a little slow? Of course the effects of the smoke itself on the lungs? That's my guess. I wouldn't smoke grass on top of my puppy. Other than that, the puppy will be mellow and more social for sure, but what about the slow withdrawal? Marijuana is not addictive physically, but it's a mental state that one learns to love. I would NOT do it myself. I love my puppies but I would love a bag from the 70's too. Whoever it is, just stop smoking around the puppy, okay? Duh!! good Luck!! @8=)

Ok, Id just like to tell you something, why in the first place are you smoking pot, don't you know the health risks, and why should you deserve to have a puppy while you do smoke. Puppies have lungs, brains and nerves too, but the effects could be more serious, because as your puppy gets older it could end up permanently brain damaged, blind, cancer stricken even dead. So I suggest giving up the pot or giving up the dog.

It would have the same effects that second hand smoke has on people. But beware of leaving any around, marjuana ingestion causes serious problems in dogs and can be fatal

Be kind to your animal, she does'nt have a choice in the matter so make a good one for her, send her out of the room. Its no better for her than it is for any growing thing. Would you smoke around your 3 month old child?

My bro in law blew pot in his dog Dilbert's face all the time and eventually she turned from a super smart dog in to a really dumb dog.
