It is programmed in Human DNA itself by the Creator. ANy person when he starts to know the things, he will recognise God. Age of 3 or 4 or 5. Mostly parents start influencing them from 1 years onwards. During the time of distress, we can see people saying"Oh God !". In Russia when communism was at its peak, there happend a Plane Accident in which all died. Later when they look into the Black Box / Voice Recorder all the passengers were shouting "Oh God ". Although all were communist, last minute in-voluntarily they called upon the God to save them. Also at every stage of life God's manifestation is visible to everyone who lives in this world.

When children are born, they are constantly in touch with God. Then the negativities of life disconnect them from God, and they spend the rest of their life searching for God outside them.
Your question is wrong, you should have asked, at what age do people lose touch with God. By age two, children sort of lose the connection. By age seven, this connection with God is almost totally gone.
When God goes out of our lives, sickness comes in - sickness of the body, mind, and heart. See children, how fast they heal? That is because they are filled with God.

It really depends on the individual, but i would say in a persons 30's because by that time they have lived a bit, and can make a mature decision and really decide if they or how much knowledge they have about God.

it depends on how he/she is brought up. if the parents believe in god they teach their kids right from the begenning. they take their infents to their places of worship & teach them ( make them lie down at the feet of god ). if the parents do noe believe in god the children r not exposed to that environment.he/she may not know till he/she grows big & watch others doing it.

but when one knows the difference between --
black and white,
good and bad,
beauty and ugly,
love and hate,
sun and moon,
etc.., and etc ..,
then he or she or it is in the right age to know about god.
