Sun in carries on working on your hair for days after you apply it so if you are recolouring over it you must use a specialist cleansing shampoo such as Aussie cleansing shampoo b4 hand otherwise it will carry on lightening the hair. It happened to me years ago and I ended up with yellow/orange hair. Had to have hair repigmented b4 could put brown over it.Be careful

Just use hair bleach powder + peroxide and wrap the strands you want in foil instead of taking ages using the ones from shops which almost never work because they are basically a weak bleach and remember if it turns yellow/orange or whatever to just use a toner on it which can be bought at most beauty shops ect.

Revlon Frost & Glow is one of the better home highlighting kits.

Agree - Sun-In is lethal stuff. It builds up on the hair and if you use it too often, it can cause the hair to break off at the root - very attractive!
