This is a tasty, moist cake.
I have an electric mixer but I still mix this one by hand because it just takes a couple of stirs to mix.

CHOCOLATE CAKE
1 ½ cup flour
3 tbsp cocoa
1 tsp soda
1 cup sugar
½ tsp salt
1/3 cup oil (I prefer Canola)
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp vinegar
1 cup cold water
Put dry ingredients in a bowl. Make a well in the centre.
Put the oil, vanilla and vinegar in the centre.
Pour the cold water over and stir to mix.
Pour batter into 8x8 pan.
Bake ½ hour @ 350F.

I hate to be a smarty but you can always substitute the electric mixer with a plain ol' wire wisk. however there is a ton of easy sweets to make. If you like cold stuff you could make a Ice cream Sunday, if you want something like a candy you can make english toffee. (I recomend looking in a cookbook for good recipes) good luck on not waking up your neighbors ;)

You can make just about anything without an electric mixer, all you need is a wire whisk or sometimes even a fork will do.

Forget the mixer, use your hand. The sweat makes it taste better. Get some of those flan things from a Mexicano Store.

Creme brule... you need a hand whisk, boiling water and a flame thrower...

Oh and the ingredients, but it's fun and tasty

Oh sorry... that was "with our" not "without" for that you could go for merangue? ice cream, anything with whipped cream, maybe a sponge cake... you could try a gateau, but maybe the electric mixer might "fold" a bit to vigourously

STRAWBERRY SPARKLE CAKE:
1 Angel Food Cake
1 package (3 oz.) strawberry-flavored gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 package (1 lb.) frozen sliced strawberries
1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip
Place cake, widest side down, on a serving plate. Cut a 1-inch layer from the top and set aside. Cut around cake 1-inch from outer edge to 1-inch from bottom. Then cut around cake 1-inch from inner edge to 1-inch from bottom. Gently remove the section of cake between cuts, tearing it into small pieces; set aside.
Dissolve gelatin in water and add frozen block of strawberries, stirring to break up and mix berries. Fold cake pieces into strawberry mixture and pour it into cake shell. Place cake layer on top. Stir a few drops of red food coloring into Cool Whip until pink. Spread Cool Whip over top and sides of cake. Decorate with whole strawberries if desired. Refrigerate until served, at least one hour.
