The trick would be finding a sincere and talented agent - one who's looking out for your best interests. Lots of nobodies will want to take your picture "professionally" if you hang out your shingle as "lingerie model" or "swimsuit model". Try to talk to someone who has already had success and is maybe a couple years older and see if they can recommend an agent.

Is hard to say without seeing an actual picture. Runway models can get by being a Size 0-2, but to be a swimsuit model, you would need the "X" factor or charisma which cannot be conveyed via a description.

Its strange because everything in your description fits me perfectly, except i am not Russian, and only a little Italian. I think that this is a question that has to be answered based on so much more then what you provided, becuase although I fit your description, I look at myself and dont consider myself swimsuit/lingere model material. There are so many other things to take into consideration.

I m not sure what 5'8 is in cm (i m not familiar with feet and inches ect), but besides the weight and height it depends on other things like your body type, how long your legs are, how small your waist, if your skin is firm and other things. If you really want that try it, go to an agency and ask them. But no matter what they tell you and what happens don't get too skiny and too obsessed with your weight. Good luck!

being a model is a combination of both body and personality. So if you think that you can do it and you have the look, go for it. Good luck!

all well and good with the partial discription but there is more to it than that. even the mental aspect is tremendous and has to be considered. what about your physical attributes? compitition is stiff, grueling and unending too. you ready for all that?

Can't really make a determination without pictures. Self-perception is highly inaccurate.
