You don't remember ANYTHING. It's like a chunk of time simply never happened. If you are experiencing black outs, then your drinking or drug use is out of control and has progressed to the point where you are in serious trouble if you don't get some help.

Well your handle says it all- I Love to Party. First symptom of blacking out is........blacking out. You haven't given enough info. Are you drinking, taking drugs, straight or is this just something that happens for no reason?

I don't mean to sound flippant -- but having everything go black. Your ears may get a high pitched noise depending on how low your level of consciousness actually got, or while you're coming back to. I've completely passed out a few times (medical reasons...not drinking or anything),and I've also only "blacked out" (as in everything went black) but was still consciously aware of my surroundings otherwise after giving blood.
