Zoom represented in like 10 x or 12 x for example...?

there's a camera I'm getting....the Olympus E-330. The lens is 14mm-45mm. How is that represented in like zoom.......like is it 12 x zoom or 10 x zoom?

The zoom is simply 45 / 14 = 3.2X zoom
