Tea Tree Oil Shampoo works wonders and leaves hair feeling clean. My husband had issues with dandruff and used T-Gel but it smelled bad. I asked my mother who is a beautician and she recommended Paul Mitchel Tea Tree shampoo. The Dandruff went away and the itching stopped.

Dandruff is caused by dry scalp. Almost all shampoos remove the oil from the scalp after wash and make the scalp drier than before.
Try this... apply petroleum gelly on the scalp in the evening, in a particular area, for eg., front portion of the scalp. Allow it to get absorbed by the scalp.
Have mild shampoo wash in the morning and go to school.
Repeat it daily for a week and inspect the texture of the scalp. If you find any difference, continue and follow the same for the rear side of the scalp.
Wish u all the best!

I love hair questions I used to be an apprentice for celbs in Toronto.
your dandruff is caused by dry scalp. If your dandruff treatment didnt' work after using it for a week then I suggest making an appoitment with your doctor you could have serious condition that's worst then dandruff.
I would suggest seeing your family doctor, and try not washing your hair for three days allow the oil to rebuild on your scalp and try again with rekin (salon anti dandruff shampoo and a anti dandruff conditioner)
You could also try a protine treatment.
1 cup of milk and 2 eggs let the mixture sit on your hair for a hour and then rinse in lukewarm water hot water will make the egg cook
good luck

Use Baby shampoo, wash hair every other day wear a hat or a "touque"(CDN) in the cold. unless you drench your hair in gel + other products then you dont need a harsh shampoo. I did an experiment once, My hair shampoo was harsher then my KITCHEN soap ! Have people noticed your dandruff, maybe just you see it.

If you wear hats for fashion, don't wear them for a
while so that your head can breathe.
Don't scratch your head. If your head itches, use
finger tips, the skin part (not nails) to massage your head
until the itch stops. Use moisturizing organic shampoos,
preferably fragrance-free to sensitive hair type shampoos.
Don't wash your hair so often as that can dry out your
head and scalp. These should be helpful tips for getting
you on the right track.
You may even want to consult your family physician.
