what month in the year does it begin to snow in New York?

Planning a holiday to new york later this year and would love to go iceskating in Central Park... *how cliche*

Some times in NYC it starts in December or even November, but usualy by now we should have gotten some. We have been lucky so far this year, but it may snow on Friday.

The Wollman Rink is usualy open untill the end of April.
