Well the funny thing is, the more women he is dating the more isolated he will feel. Isolation is due to lack of connection. When you love someone you have a connection to their heart much as a spaceman is connected to his spacecraft with a lifeline so that he doesn't stray off into space when outside his spacecraft.
If you have 5 such lifelines, you never really get to really connect with anyone and hence the isolation. You cannot love more than 1 person. True love that is. Once you love someone, nobody else matters.

Isolation sets in when he no longer knows what / who is it he really wants to be with. This is a phase of confusion followed by an act of isolation, with the intention to break away from the five women and finding someone he really loves only to realise that he would get bored with just one women and start the whole cycle all over again.
This man would be a very indecisive person and also someone who can't set his mind on something and pursue it till the very end. He is afraid to make these negative traits known to someone. At the end of the day, he stands alone, waiting for the day where he can finally overcome his flaws.

He is seeing five women, but maybe he doesnt have deep emotional attachment w any of them. You dont need more than 1 partner to feel fulfilled, 1 person w emotional attachment & intimacy is more than enough already:)

Because he can't share anything with any of his friends for fear they might blab perhaps... Or because none of the five dating relationships are satisfying him completely.
