I read a lot on here about free will, and " I'm in control of my destiny" etc....but do we really? at all?
I talked earlier to a genocide survivor. His classmates were all burned alive years ago and he was the only survivor ( he's got the scars to prove it). Now, those kids all had dreams, most believed in God, some were bad, some were good basically they were just like you and me ( they just happened to belong to the wrong group).
What sense does it make at all? What's the point? I ( or you) could step outside and be run over by a car...How can anybody say they're in control of anything?? If God is in control, what did they ever do to him?

The step at which we go wrong is, we think that God is something external, and we are just puppets dancing to his tune. Infact, each of us is in total control of our own lives, but SUBCONSCIOUSLY.

There is only one God - just like all of us have water in our body, and there is only one water - the water in your body and the water in my body is no different from that in the oceans or in the clouds.

Each one of us on earth is here to complete a mission and learn some lessons, apart from even-ing out past life karma. Some of those lessons are nice and some are painful. If people die in a terrifying manner, that was chosen by them before birth itself.

It is also the fact that the element of good is more in the creation than the element of evil. We all see that there are more people who are healthy than those who are sick. There are more that eat well then those who starve. There are more that live decent life then those who commit crimes. Goodness is the rule and evil is the exception. Virtue is the norm and sin is the aberration. Generally trees bear fruits, the flowers bloom, the winds move smoothly. .

This is a temporary world and every thing here has a time limit. When its times comes it will die, come to an end and finish. Neither the good things of this world are forever, nor the bad things eternal. We are here for a short time and we are being tested. Those who will pass this test they will find an eternal world that is perfect and permanent. Those who will fail this test they shall see the evil consequences of their sins and corruption.

How many times it happens that we are not careful and still we reach safely to our destinations. The way people drive in some cities, it is a miracle that more accidents do not happen and more people do not suffer. Allah says: (Allah) Most Gracious! 2- It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. 3- He has created man: 4- He has taught him speech (and Intelligence). 5- The sun and the moon follow courses (exactly) computed; 6- And the herbs and the trees both (alike) bow in adoration. 7- And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance (of Justice), 8- In order that you may not transgress (due) balance. 9- So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance. 10- It is He Who has spread out the earth for (His) creatures. (al-Rahman 55:1-10)

Abu Yahya Suhaib bin Sinan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "How wonderful is the case of a believer; there is good for him in everything and this applies only to a believer. If prosperity attends him, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him; and if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently and that is better for him".

First of all God warns in the Bible that unforeseen circumstances befall us all. So yes a person can be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Second, God is allowing Men and Satan to rule themselves. This has failed, and what this means, God is proving he has the right to rule over his creation. Read the book of Genesis, and Job.

Third, God has provided our survival in a Resurrection at a later time. God is sensitive to persons suffering, which is why when that day comes, people that did not have an opportunity to learn about God and his son Jesus, they will be able too.

Forth, You are in control because you have a conscious, and that is a basic means of telling you what is right and wrong.

I've struggled with this issue for years, and long ago decided to avoid using the cliché "God is in control," because it implies that He intends for people to do evil, and that disasters and accidents are intended to kill specific individuals, including children. There's so much more that I want to say on this topic, but I think I'll leave it at that for now.

Everything is completly random, humans like the comfort of thinking someone or something is in control. It is all random chaos, nothing at all happens for a reason, there is no point so just try & make the best of it That is all we can do.

Life can be depressing if you focus on dying. Realize death could come anytime yes, and live your life accordingly, but it only makes life more precious.

If you are interested in discusions on freewill, I recomend reading Sarte. He argued we have freewill because no matter what limitations are put on us (environment, genetic predisposition, etc), we always have some choices to make. What flavor icecream to choose, what to do with our day, what kind of person to be, etc. Even in very strict countries where women do not have the choice to work or who to marry, they still determine their own attitude and happiness.

There is always choice, therefor we have freewill. And that makes life worth living.

There is only one thing you can control.

You can control your mind.

Now, just what will you tell your mind to do?

Do you want to be happy? That is so easy:

Simply appreciate what you have.

Do you want assurance of going to Heaven?

Forgive someone for their mistakes. (The Holy spirit will jump into your heart; mentally, emotionally, and physically)

Jesus said, "Forgive others for their mistakes. If you do not forgive others, then your father in Heaven will not forgive you."

Well, there you have it:

How to be happy.

and How to go to Heaven, after your stay here on Earth.

You make out what your life's gonna be, with God's help.
God is in control, it's undeniable, but he lets you and me make the choices.
If you wanna be all mopey and depressed, then that's the way life's gonna be. If you want a fulfilled life, just look to one source: God.
He hears you and loves you, and when I know that, life doesn't need to make any sense!

Yes it does...that is IF you can put all the puzzle pieces together. I know it sounds difficult, but, it actually isn't. You just have to search for the truth...
