Ladies, if a guy handwrote you a letter with a quil pen and then sealed it with wax, or if a guy had a picnic with you in the park, would you like that?

Picnic yes,other thing,nope!Now a days,girls see guys who are too romantic as weak,insecure,and sensitive.They think that if they get with a guy who writes them poetry or something,that if you ever hurt them,they would start crying or something.Most girls dont want to see a grown man cry because that signals what I said before:insecurity,weakness,and too much sensitivity.They would feel that that guy couldnt protect them,if they ever had to.Plus it would feel like they switched roles,the woman should do the crying,not the man.

That's a great idea! There are lots of little things women like...flowers, a basket of fruit if you have to miss a date...candy, intimate little trinkets and gifts to remind them that you think of them on trips and just for nothing at all. The problem arises when they aren't sure because you STOP doing all those things. So, in essence, timing is everything; and don't throw too much at them at once, they overload and begin to expect it from you...

Most women still want the romance but most have just shut it out all together because they're not used to it because a lot of men(not all) don't bother anymore....I think typically they'd find it sweet, cute, romantic, ect...

goodness!! you are probably my dream guy!! lol (no, i can't really say that i am literally laughing out loud :) ...but i wish my boyfriend would take me out for a picnic or give me flowers just because it's tuesday... he barely started opening the car door for me! -anyway, i am a complete romantic, but i'm convinced that there aren't many guys out there like that anymore :( i hate to say this, but i think chivalry IS dead....

I think the girls who are used to that sort of treatment take it for granted, but for someone like me that those things just don't happen.... ya I'd love it! I would think he was the most romantic man alive!

Yes, yes , yes times one million billion! Girls still love the old sappy romantic stuff. Not only does it show you love them but also it shows that you didn't just do somthing you thought about it and took time to do it! ^_^
