I've had a good look in the internet but either the program is worth a fortune, or it required a person with above average computer skills to download and set-up the system.
At the most basic level, I need the work "Akasha" translated into sanskrit for an art project. But to be able to add other words would be even better!

As I said in my question, I have searched the internet but with no luck!! Hoping someone might know of a program or be actually using a translation program.
Thanks.

akasha is a sanskrit word already. you can't translate it into sanskrit b.c it already is sanskrit.

Do you just need the word written in a sanskrit script, ie, devanagari? The best program is available from tavultesoft, but let me save you some hassle--if you post your email address I can send you whatever words you need. You'll have trouble accurately typing the skt words on a roman keyboard and converting them to devanagari correctly if you don't know sanskrit.

added:

आकाश

its actually ākāśa--sanskrit has a short and long a, as well as three different 's' letters.
