I find being slim an ideal for me. But I do like curves also. I think people who are skinny do not look so attractive or very healthy, mainly the girls who try to be that way. If you are naturally slim, it probably looks fine, as you were made like that. I like a slim waist and slim arms, average sized breasts and a little bottom, with shape, like curves. Not into this straight up and down look. A woman without curves in the bottom or chest area just doesn't look so sexy. And some shape in the legs is good too. Not into the skinny legs either.

I got a Victoria Secret catalog in the mail yesterday and my mouth dropped when I saw how pencil thin the models in the clothes were. It was like a third world nation thin. The clothes were pretty, but I couldn't help but feel sorry for those poor under nourished women. I want to say women, but they looked more like undeveloped Girls. For most men, a woman should be healthy and weigh what is appropriate for her size. After all a well toned, woman with some weight on her bones is more beautiful. I happened to think Angelina Jolie is a beautiful woman. But, she's so thin at this point it's robbing her of her beauty. She's getting that goth, bony and haunted look. That's not appealing to men. Men need affection, snuggling, they like to rough house and don't want their woman to break. They want something soft next to them at night. Not fat, not obese but Healthy. To the women who are naturally thin and try to gain weight this doesn't include you after all genetics rule. As you get older you will gain weight it's called Middle Age Spread When I have looked at the paintings and masterpieces traveling through Europe. The women in the paintings we're always Full Bodied, Curves, Romanesque I would call it. That was considered beauty then. Only the peasant women were skinny. They weren't desired. HEALTHY LOOKING IS THE BEST BEAUTY OF ALL.

i think that society has a slighty warped perspective on what a "thin" really is. I think a BMI (body mass index) of 19-25 is the most attractive (technically in healthy range). but most american womens' weight falls in the late 20s, making them technically overweight. at the same time, models BMI is often around 18, making them underweight. so by "thin," do you mean for a model or for an average person?
I think that the most attractive female bodies have curves and softness, of course, but are also built for doing aerobic exercise. the trick is to have the curves in the right places!

You tell 'em. Some of these men hunting for these "thin" (read Grim Reaper's sister) women must be looking for a way to have a girlfriend and a free Halloween decoration. This just isn't healthy.
As a personal trainer, I want women to know that even the suggested weight the doctor gives you is too skinny. He's telling you things based on what's good for your heart. Fine. But the weight that is best for your heart is horrible for almost every other system. YOur heart performs best under stress. The rest of you doesn't.
If you're of average height and less than 140-145, you are not healthy. That's why you feel depressed, look like garbage, and think your body is slamming but admire the healthy glow on the big womans face and hair. She's not a big woman. YOu're a zombie.

I am not overweight nor thin but having lost a considerable amount of weight in the past couple of years, I hope to maintain my look because I do have curves, my waist curves in, my hips curve out and I am quite pleased how it looks to wear jeans and a snug top.So, one can be thin without being skinny and bony and still have nice womanly curves.

Besides models, I don't see that women who have curves and wish they didn't, but I see plenty of women who don't have curves and wish they did. In my opinion, the epitome of womanhood is curves.

Yes we love curves but they should be in proper places, we don't want to look footballs.............and I am sure neither do men want to see us overall curved............to keep some curves attractive , we need to keep some places flat................now do you agree

I like curves... not too thin not too fat.
Some people just obsess about themselves... if they are fat sometimes they arn't comfortable in their own body.
