We all worship the same God, the God of Abraham, Ishmeal, Issac, and Jacob. Sure we have some differences between us but the basics are the same. Don't lie. Don't steal, Respect your mother and father, etc. So doesn't it make sense that whatever good we do just for God we will be rewarded for and whatever bad we do against God we will be punished for, except by the mercy of God himself. So why do people believe that everyone who does not follow their exact religious practices will go straight to hell? What do you think?

I agree with you about God will reward whatever good we do just for him and punish whatever bad we do against him.

A verse in Holy Qur'an said that. (sorry that i don't know the exact verse)

But then, the Holy Qur'an stated three types of human in the world : the ones who receive guidance, the ones who's corrupted, and the ones who's lost. (Fateha 7)

If we delve more into the Holy Qur'an, the ones who receive guidance is Mukmin, the ones who's corrupted is the Jews, and the ones who's lost is the Christians.

The Jews is the corrupted ones because they ignore and even kill their prophets sent by God. They break God's rules.

Jesus was sent to the Jews as their prophet, but why Jews was not turned into Christians ?

The Bible was written more than 100 years after Jesus was raised by God. Who wrote them ? the Jews. And the Bible suffered many modifications, especially when the Roman tried to assimilate it with pagan teachings.

Jews knows the right teachings from the wrong, but they keep it to themselves, while Christians get the corrupted Bible and they don't even realize that the Bible is corrupted.

That makes Christians the lost ones.

On the other hands, Islam wasn't come from the Jews. And the Holy Qur'an is still conserved completely as it is in people's memory up until now.

So I don't bother about anyone following his / her own religious practice. Whether someone go to heaven or hell is not anyone's but God's decision. I believe that whoever believe in Allah and do good deeds, they will be rewarded.

I wager we're going to discover out whilst the Hell-fires burn. But, simply as a truth checker, we Christians do not all think that Jews are always going to Hell. AND you could desire to notice that Muslims and Jews might each need to be in 2 hells too. And what approximately Scientology, Wicca, Pagan, and the entire different international religions? Are we going to Hindu Hell for consuming Cows?

God said in the holy Quran that denying even one of His messengers is to disbelieve in the rest of them.

However, surely it's entirely up to God to admit someone either to Heaven or Hell but then again, if you know that we worship the same God why don't you follow His last messenger whose holy book, i.e. holy Quran is original and whose teachings are rigorously preserved and protected by Islamic orthodoxy, hence the same Islamic creed, i.e. there is no god but God (Allah) and Muhammad is His messenger, professed by Muslims for over 1400 years regardless of sects or other theological differences among Islam's 8 schools of jurisprudence.

I seriously do not mean to insult, but compare that to Christianity and Judaism.

Right off the bat your statement is incorrect we do not worship the same god as the muslims do. You don't get it it takes one thing we do bad and we are separated from God and headed toward hell. It is the default condition until we make a decision for Christ. There is no cosmic scale and if the good deeds outweight the bad we go to the "good side" there is none that doeth good no not ONE! We need the complete grace and blood of Jesus christ to atone for our sins. Nothing else will do. Jesus says I am the way the truth and the life no man comes to the Father but by me. I think it's not a matter of pratice or earning cosmic brownie points and working our way up thru ritualistc behavours or religious pratice. The only thing God can do is reach down to us Oh wretched man that we are and save us by his grace. For we are saved by grace not of works lest any man should boast. God showed his mercy toward us that while we were still sinners he sent his only son to atone for our sins. A free gift. All we have to do is believe and recieve. This is hard for many.

As a Muslim, I believe that only God will judge people and decide who will go to paradise and who will go to hellfire. There are some people I would like to see go to hell and sometimes I tell them, but I know in my heart, God may very well love them and what them to reward them for something good they may have done once in their miserables lives (j/k!)... but even as Muslim, we know that God will decide among all people who goes where.

First of all hell is the underworld, that is a Babylonian belief. The King James bible and the Church have distorted the real meaning of hell. The bible says Job asked God to hide him in hell. This of course would not make any sense. Job is actually asking God to put him in a grave to hide him from Gods anger. But Job also believed in a resurrection, which is why the Bible mentions Job asked God to remember him.

Gods laws are for our benefit and God has a greater purpose for all mankind. Since he is the creator, he deserves to be worshiped his way. Like in the days of Noah, people were not all wicked, they did one thing that is seriously wrong , they failed to pay attention to Gods, prophet Noah in that day, and like many other prophets, the people of Israel also failed to listen to the like.
God will destroy people in order to save those that will love him and live according to his laws. When God does punish his people it is a loving consideration on his part in order to help us.

Even within the many Christian denominations, there are considerable differences. Religious people have just one thing in common: belief and love in God.

God did not create the religions, people did. No one knows who is right (as far as any given religion goes). Jewish people do not believe in heaven and hell--that doesn't necessarily mean they won't be saved--they were God's chosen people.

Many people who do believe, do not attend any church--some, due to church politics, and others due to being homebound. This does not mean they will not be saved.

This category is very frustrating to me--seeing people argue about the various religions; those who argue that there is no God; those who go on and on about science, etc. Religion, in my opinion, should be practiced in one's home and/or in their place of worship. No one ever wins in arguments about religion--just as no one ever wins in arguments about politics.

Actually, Jews tend to believe that there are many paths, that Judaism isn't the only way. Jews also don't have a well-defined idea of "hell" -- it's more of a layered purgatory called Gehenna.

Interesting thought but considering this same God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob also says one sin kills...and only one name under heaven is given that can impart life to the dead. Considering all have sinned I believe the Bible in that you need not only reconcilliation to God but also a cure for death, namely life. You cannot get spiritual life from Muhammad and you cannot get it from keeping the law, but only through recieving Christ.

It seems folly to me to ask 3 different groups of people who have differing views on who goes to hell. Each will point to the others.
