well my girlfriend has been away for over 6 months now and she will be coming back soon. we love each other and talk everyday and i want to do something special and memorable when she arrives to the airport in the morning next week. so i want to make that entire day unforgettable and just spectacular. if u have any suggestions or past experiences that u could share that would be great! thanks.

If you can afford a limo, have one pick her up at the airport. If you can't really afford it, definitely don't do it. She'll think that you waste money too easily. If you can, have a friend or family to drive. Handle everything for her as soon as she comes through the gate. Call the driver and have them waiting when you come out. Don't ask too many questions. Just make her feel happy to be home. A home-cooked meal and a relaxing night is best, unless she loves to go out a lot. On the second day, either take her out, or make sure that she has time with her girlfriends. Remember that they haven't seen each other in a long time, too. It will show how much you think of her, not yourself.

Have you ever seen those road side signs that said birthday party ahead 3 blocks and then you see one pointing you ahead for every mile and then it says to turn where you are supposed to go.
Well...get some of your friends together and make signs like how strangers would find a person coming off of the plane and have someone hold a sign with her name and when she sees it they will give her a rose. Then maybe continue that on about 3 or 4 times with each sign holder giving her a rose and then you'll be the last sign holder saying something sweet and special to only the two of you and you'll be holding the rest of the roses.

Bring some flowers to the airport. Have a nice hot bubble bath waiting for her, a candlelit dinner set up, and rose petals on the bed. wooooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooo for u

Her favorite flowers, ballons, poster sign,Have all this at the airport with you. Then take her for a walk and picnic in the park, then watch the sunset from a point where you can see the sun leaving its mark across the sky.....

Take her to the beach and have fun.In the middle of the night take her in a boat into the sea or lake or river whichever is near.Under the stars in the water propose marriage to her.

Well... one time I took a dozen roses, peeled all of the petals off and tossed them all around my girlfriend's car (after sneaking her keys away from her). Her car smelled like roses for a month (it's a lasting gift). She loved it!
