My dog loves ice cream, peanut butter and beefaronis. Are these okay to give her in small amounts every once in awhile?

Here is the list that I use:
Dogs Shouldn't Have:
Onions (in any form)
Excessive salt (most prepared foods are salted)
Nitrates, which is in most processed meats
Mono-sodium glutamate, which is in SO many of our food items.
Chocolate, or candy of any kind.
Raisins or grapes
Fruit seeds/pits, and most tree nuts are harmful.
Turkey fat/skin can be devastating, causing pancreas disease.
No cooked bones..
No corn or soy (found in most dog foods)
No fresh milk products, at all..
Nothing containing caffeine, such as coffee, cola or tea.
Nothing with excess fat, and ONLY low fat cheese
Easy on the organ meats (liver, etc) and easy on the cabbages and tomatoes.

I've never had a problem with peanut butter, beefaroni or ice cream. Any of those can upset their stomach or cause them to get the runs, but should cause permanent damage.

Chocolate can be deadly. Onions are very bad for dogs, too, causing a blood illness of some sort - even a little onion in their food over time can cause major problems.

Macadamia nuts were one I recently found out about, as is garlic. I was surprised to find out that grapes and raisins are bad as well (bad in this case can equal deadly - not regular bad).
Also beware of the following - some of them I didn't know about at all :
# Pear seeds, the kernels of plums, peaches and apricots, apple core seeds
# Potato peelings and green looking potatoes
# Rhubarb leaves
# Moldy/spoiled foods
# Alcohol
# Yeast dough
# Coffee grounds, beans & tea (caffeine)
# Hops (used in home brewing)
# Tomato leaves & stems (green parts)
# Broccoli (in large amounts)
# Raisins and grapes
# Cigarettes, tobacco, cigars

Grapes/raisins, there is much debate over garlic but it is in most dog foods; Also my dogs eat chocolate and I have only ever had one have a reaction to it. I just got back from giving everyone their yearly blood work done and the chocolate hasn't hurt their liver a bit. Of course I don't give them a lot; a cookie now and then or a hershey kiss (not like a pound or anything).

Chocolate, grapes/raisins, onions, bread dough/yeast, alcohol, any product with xylitol (in most diabetic foods like sugarless gum) are all toxic. Most people food can cause upset tummies and really should not be given. Dogs cannot digest lactose, so you shouldnt feed ice cream, but they do make doggie ice cream. Peanut butter is ok occasionally, but high in fat so it can also cause problems.

Dogs do not digest milk products, but as long as you just give her a tiny bit she'll be fine. The same goes for the rest of the goodies, all treats should be given in moderation. Dogs should not eat onions, chocolate or grapes. These are all toxic to their systems, so avoid these foods.

Chocolate, onion, grapes and macadamia nuts

Ice cream in small amounts is ok, peanut butter is absolutely fine.

Grapes/raisins, chocolate, onions/garlic, alcohol, coffee, caffeine are all poisonous to dogs. I think peanut butter is okay, because I give them to my dog as treats.

Chocolate, grapes...
but also avocado and algies- be careful to never let a dog swim in an algie overgrown pond etc., they drink the water and the algie gets into their fur and they lick themselves afterwards and get very sick!

I know that onions and chocolate are two things that are bad for dogs. I don't think any sweets are good for them.
