Get to know him, see if he has an outstanding characteristic. We have a dog named Crash. It took us a week to come up with a suitable name for him. He was a big, clumsy puppy and he'd run into everything. If he was next to a wall and you called him, he'd whack his head into the wall to look at you (always the wrong way). We came up with Crash :). He got a lot less clumsy as he got older, but the name still fits.
We had a dog named Bug because she was cute as a bug. We had a Labrador named Mouse because she was such a quiet little mouse when we got her. We currently have Tippy, named because she has a white tip on her tail and because she will tip over onto her back when she's in a chair with you so she can see your face.
A dog's name can be much more than something to call the dog.
Of course, you could just name him Sock. People will say "don't you mean Socks?" and then you can point at him and say, "No just one sock."
Gee, I'm funny!

most pits are so inbred & over bred that any thing would be possible. all white & blind, deformities, strong temperament problems, serious skin problems, bad health problems, do you know what color the parents of the parents were or the parents of those parents. You should be able to go back 10 generations to find out the most common color that has been thrown. but being a BYBer you don't know these things. You are not educated enough to be breeding dangerous breeds. you do not know what you are doing & by doing what you are doing is going to reflect on the pups. if the daddy & the mama are aggressive, you KNOW that the pups will be aggressive. You got to be very careful working with genetics. & you probably wouldn't know how to work genetic in your favor. best advise I can give is to get both dogs fixed. & don't bring a poor quality litter into being. there are already so many that they are killed daily by the thousands. whole litters are taken in cause they won't sell & people are getting stuck with growing litters & they can't keep them so they are turned in for euthanasia. never having a chance to be adopted. it would be better to have an emergency spay & abort the litter, than to have them born just to be put down.

Is the white foot his left? How about "Lefty"? Like a mafia name?
You might want to name him something like "Zero" which is going to be how much money you have left at the end of the month after buying FOOD for this monster.......... :)
It would be cute to give him a foo-foo name like you'd name one of the "purse dogs", like "Jo-Jo" or "Pookie" or something, as a joke, but I think if I were in your position I would go with "Zero".
I had a dog named Zero once and she was the best dog I have ever had.
My dogs now are named Skylar (a Border Collie/Husky), Susie (a Shar-Pei/Boxer/maybe Pit??) and Baby Girl (a cockapoo, I think). They are all from the pound or were found as strays and no owner ever located........... you can also check the website below for ideas.
Best of luck to you.
