It is rather hard to find examples of something that did not happen in the first place, however, the formation of the US is remotely similar (in very general terms) to the exodus. Just to be clear, there is no evidence to support that the exodus occurred or that the Hebrews (as a people) were ever in Egypt and a great deal that indicates that the Jewish culture developed in the Canaanite highlands.

Nice analogy. Israel is David and the Arabs are Goliath. Even with East Jerusalem, Gaza, the Golan Heights, and the West Bank, Israel is the smallest country in the Middle East and one of the smallest in the world. It has a population of seven million people, one million of whom are Arab Israeli Muslims who hate their own country. Israel is encircled by Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and the disputed Palestinian territories, all of which have fought wars with it sometime in the past. Israel has minimal natural resources and depends on products such as diamonds, guns, and software for its income. Israel is the one Jewish state in the world. The Arabs have twenty two states that cover ten percent of the Earth. They have three hundred million people, only about 10,000 of whom are Jewish. They have between 25% to 50% of the world's oil which they can use as a political weapon. They have large armies (Egypt's army is three times the size of Israel's). And they have media sympathy and political correctness. And they want Israel wiped off the face of the Earth.

And I would definitely call more than one million Shephardic Jews forced to leave their homes (more than Palestinians forced to leave Israel) in the Arab and Islamic world an exodus. In fact, it's very fitting, in a strange way, to think of 100,000 Egyptian Jews fleeing their country, and 5,000 years of Judaism in Egypt gone, a 'second' exodus.

Get the picture?

NO! Israel is David and the muslim word the Goliath. Just remember, if your going to make Bible references that the Bible also says, that God will bless them that blesses Israel and curse them who curses Israel. Read a little Bible prophecy and see what happens to the nations that have and will come up against Israel.
