Keep doing 3 reps of 10 every second day. (and build up until you are doing more reps).
Do not do it every day, as muscle needs one day to tear and one day to build.
Also do 10 pushups (once every second day, on the same day you do the weights) and gradually increase the number
Also, eat lots of protien right after your workout or withing 1/2 hour after your workout- you could try lean meats and make your own protien shakes using whey powder (bought at bulk stores, pharmacies or heath food stores). You can also eat more protien throughout the day.
You don't need to lose any weight!!!
Someone 4'10 should be between:
90-120 ibs. You are a perfect weight for your height.
When you gain muscle you can gain weight (from muscle) and look thinner too because you will have lost fat and gained muscle or turned your fat into muscle.

You have a 100 lb weight at your disposal. Your body. Push ups, sit-ups, other types of crunches and ab work, pull-ups, running up stairs. run up stairs 2 at a time. If you are in a city, find a 4 story building and time yourself running up stairs. keep the same time for each flight. Plyrometrics (developing explosive strength) done mostly by various forms of leaping or jumping. This is real tough serious world class stuff the best olympic athletes in the world do... no weights. read up or get a book from amazon on Plyrometrics. find workout things you can use. an old bicycle inner tube makes a tough band you can use for many things, step on it with both feet and do arm curls. adjust the weight by how far apart your feet are.
Same with a few chairs. push ups with one hand on each chair and feet on a third is real work. When you get to 200 push ups that way dropping down with your chest below your hands, you'll be a pretty tough guy.
Use what you have, but the key is dedication. you have to put in about 90 minutes a day 5 or 6 days a week. take 1 day off (Sunday is good) on the weekend, and Wed or Thursday off if you are still sore. but you MUST do at least 5 days a week for 4 months before you see it all kick into gear. There is no easy way out.
Oh yeah1 I almost forgot, inverted push ups... do a hand stand with your back to a wall. Then do a push up like an upside down military press of your full body weight.
I will take time to get there if all you have been using are the 7 lb weights, but 14Y/O is the perfect age to start. you are at the peak growth period right now and you will never have an easier time than now and the muscle you build now you get to keep as an adult. if you don't do it now you won't be able to in 6 to 8 years. Use a 12 month calander and write on it each day you workout what you did. Don't lie to yourself. make sure you put something in every day for the 12 months even if it says "rest" when it is supposed to.

You need to move up. If you're going to try for muscle with 7 pound dumbells, then you're going to have to do constant reps.
I'd recommend you start doing pushups, situps, crunches, and pullups even more than using dumbells for now. You should start lifting when you hit 15.
That is how old I am, I only do pushups and crunches, and it has gone a long way.
NOTE: J W is right. Start drinking protein shakes in the morning and at night to grow larger, but then you need to shape it by exercising. What is MOST important is that you NEED to get sleep. That is the only time your body will actually grow, and you need sleep in order for your "broken" muscle tissue to heal which in turn makes your muscles bigger.

to tell you the truth, you can not bulk up that much with 7 lbs weights. i suggest that you do push-ups, sit-ups, and tricept-push ups. and on the weight loss aspect, just try and do something everyday, be it walking, running, swimming, the one that worked for was ddr, i know it is sad but it worked. also on the weight loss aspect, cut out all fast food, make your meal portions small (not too small), and try to not drink much soda. if you follow these tips you will be on your way to becoming the hunk of the school in no time.

u re not so smart. before u start mendling with weights u should read (do u know reading?) any magazine or internet site for iron work out. U DO NOT START DOING ANYTHING untill u know what u re doing. what u have been doing was useless and stupid. u will not get muscular by doing that. and by the way, u seem to be short for your age (my son is 14 too, he is 5'9) so do u know that working out with weights stops your growth? do u want to remain short forever? girls do not like short guys.
ps. and do not, i repeat U DO NOT start taking protein. those people didn't notice u were just 14 years old. protein shakes ARE FOR GROWN UPS ONLY. u will damage your kidneys. do your parents know what u re going to do? bodybuilding is a serious matter, u do not start it before u know what u re doing

I don't think that 7 pounds will give you mass, I would think muscle tone.
