Red Lored Amazons?

I have a red lored amazon, she is 4 years old and such a sweetie. She can't talk but she does make a little "thank you" noise.
Does anyone have a Red lored that talks? Or just a red lored in general? Just wondering... ;)

Red-Loreds are not known to be particularly good talkers although some birds can learn quite a bit of vocabulary.. A friend of mine has them and he can't talk at 3years of age either.

wait til it starts going through the hormones/breeding period, they usually turn not to friendly, a good friend of mine, had to get rid of two of his because of that reason... as far as the talking thing goes, i think his were pretty minimum too, but i never knew if that was natural or if there was a reason, sometimes they do strange things when they have a friend in or near the cage with them... just something to think about and beware of! good luck! How much did you pay for it, if you dont mind me asking!?!
