I am sorry for your loss. My mother passed away 4 years ago from breast cancer and the loss is felt just as much today as it was the day she died. When ever I was feeling bad or was not having a good day I used to call her or visit. So, recently I had some minor surgery and was feeling a little depressed about having to be out of work for a couple of months. I thought about my mother a lot during those times. And this past week I dreamed about her almost every week, so I guess that you could say that she visited me. So no, it's not crazy. Losing your mother at any age is a tremendous loss that you will not easily get over.

no u r not crazy, my mother died many yrs agoand i think of her daily. Time will eventually be the healer but for the first 12 -18 months, and u loved her dearly she will still bring a lump in yr throat. Perhaps they r not dreams, she is just letting u know that she is now at peace, with no more suffering..... All the best

No this is not. I would talk to a grieving counselor though. When you lose someone that is very close to you, you go through all kinds of crazy things. Seeing your mom visit you in your dreams is your minds way of not letting go of her. It is really hard to let go. Might take years and years. For my husband it took 4 and it was the roughest thing I seen him go through. He still says that he thinks about her all the time. But I really recommend talking to someone that is not a family member about everything. I am not saying not to talk o family members about her but to someone that can help you understand more of the grieving process.

It sounds like you have a great bond with your mom. I don't think you're crazy, I think you miss your mom. And you still need her in your life. Its a terrible way to lose someone. Its OK that you still dream about her.

No, it is ok. She is in your thoughts and maybe you are also in her thoughts. Anyway, pay attention to your dreams. Always sleep with paper and pen beside your bed. If she gives you a message, write it down immediately, or you will forget later. There may be something that she wants to tell you badly.

First off... My condolences.

It's not crazy. I had the same thing with my grandmother. Perhaps your mind is resolving issues and emotions in your brain. Perhaps your mind in it's unconscious state, is finding closure.

Just a guess.

No, it's not crazy. It's wonderful. My husband's mother visited my husband on his next two birthdays following her death. Your mother is watching over you, enjoy her presence in your dreams.
