Someone I know from school died today and we got a note after school to inform our parents...should i give it to him?

Yes, give it to him and let him know if you knew the person well or not. You can discuss the circumstances of the person's death and how it makes you feel. The death of a young person is a very stark reminder of our temporary place on earth and our purpose while here. Let it remind you that there is no guarantee of your next breath. Use your time wisely and enjoy what God has given you.

I think you should give the note to your dad. Cause I'm sure you must be having some mixed feelings right now. If your dad knows what is going on he will be able to support you throughout this ordeal. I'm sorry a school friend died today it must be very sad time for you and your friends. Everyone who loses someone needs to talk about it. Its all part of greiving. Your father may be able to help you there.
