Religion has no answers to life. It only confuses things further by deceiving you into thinking it has all the answers. People feel better about themselves when they think they know it all and there are no unanswered questions.

They all contain a few pieces of a very large puzzle, but they're hidden under so many layers of mess, that it is hard to identify the pieces. Also, even if you put all the religions of the world together, you still won't have a complete answer.
Some humans meditated with all their heart, and attained salvation. That is such a state of bliss, that a man in such a state wants to spred the joy to everyone. On the contrary, all other human beings called this person god and wrote down all the words of wisdom he ever said, and circulated it, calling it the ultimate truth. Thats where they went wrong.
Everybody makes different mistakes and everybody needs different lessons. You tell a fat person to eat less, and an anaemic person, to eat more.
In the same way, religions that preach that you should eat more (just an example) end up having lots of fat people, and religions which preach 'eat less' end up with anaemic people. You need to construct your own religion, by learning each lesson that life is trying to teach you.

I believe that there is no way for me to judge others correctly because I am not God and can not truly no another person's heart. I believe that I know God and have found a great deal of truth and enlightenment through my religion. I believe that other people may have that same experience from other faiths but I can not say because I am not them. Only God Knows and can truly judge. I also believe that there are false religions and false people within good religions. All we can do is do the best that we can according to what we know and let God be the judge. I doo not believe that your idea is unrealistic.

I have taken world religions from three colleges and know there is truth in them all however when I want to know if they have something in error I know I can trust the Bible will testify to the truth and although there are truthes in many that are not in the Bible I have never found anything that was needed that was not in the Bible. Lotsa nice to know stuff even in atheistic works like Niche (wrong spelling i know) and even insight in atheistic works but for what one needs to know it is all in the Bible, and I have read the qur'an now in it's entire and while I disagree with some things the RC church ahs done through out the centuries when the Pope said the Qur'an does not add anything of importance. It is clearer than about somethings one mst really study to find but nothiong new. Note the Qur'an staes the way to heaven is through Jesus so while it claaifys Him as a prophet He is clearly more than that no one else is between you and heaven. It syas pray a lot and the Bible says without ceasing, samo samo. Wiccan has some interesting insights but also has some errorsetc. etc.

Yes, I do agree with you. Like what I've also posted just now, I believe that every religions has some truth & good teachings. The problem is that these teachings have been translated into some human languages (imperfect language, unlike that of God's) by human (an imperfect being), then translated into more human languages by different people, etc. Human languanges are imperfect & limited, so that might be where the truth kinda deviated from God's truth.
Have you read about Mahatma Gandhi? I think even he was basically saying the same thing along the line like the one you posted.

Religion gives hope for our fears of mortality and some good basic guidelines for living on this planet with other people. Unfortunately many wars have been fought over the difference of opinion that none of us can give solidifying proof that one religion is the true path over all others. Hmm… Is that a yes to your question? About being unrealistic

I think you've opened your heart and let yourself be enlightened just by doing so.
Some would say it's naive or unrealistic. But you're not the only one who believes world is a better place with tolerance and respect to others.
I'm with you.

It is good thinking...
but taking tiny pieces from each religion isn't really right... neither is taking all the religions and squashing them together...
To me, religion isn't just about answers to life's questions. It reaches much farther than that. It delves much deeper than that.
All unrealistic things go a big way towards becoming reality if you believe in them.

Your question is a good question. I have learned to believe what I read... if god is going to juge me... then let me find out what it is that he wants... of me first.... instead of listing to what people have to say...................
We just need to stop putting the worldlys things infront of God!
so what people laugh at us when you pray before you eat.... God gave you a mouth to eat with and your eyes to see and your feet to get you from point A to point B....
Did those people create u! I think Not!
God desires us to know him so much that he took on the form of man, in the person of his son Jesus christ.
Where is God? How can I relate to him?
there's a popular song that says God is watching from a distance or you may have heard him referred to as a higher power, the man upstairs or a divine imminence. But the bible tells us he is a person, and he is near. James a man history records as the brother of Jesus, tells us that if we draw near to God, He draws near to us (James 4:8) what more could we ask ?
Have you believed God is waiting to judge you? The bible says he longs to forgive you. over and over throughout the pages of scripture, we read of HIS LONGSUFFERING NATURE. From Genesis through Revelation, we see a consistent picture of a God who continues to offer forgiveness, up to the very end of time. He is not willing that any should perish the bible says, but that all should be saved. THe reason he send jesus into the world is so that we could all be saved (John 3:17)
"Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord God rather than that he should turn from his ways and live... I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies, declares the Lord God, Therefore, repent and live"
Religions teach us we need to earn God favor. The bible tells us God's favor is a gift. All he is waiting for is for us to admit our need.
Once we confess our sin, His forgiveness is ours. (1 John 1:9)
With all honesty: I too don't know what chruch is the right church or what religion is right.... I just live by what god wants of me and do as i am ask.... to be a soldier for the lord.

The second coming is backwards. Only the innocent die and everyday there is hope, because without Hope there is no future. No signs or miracles. It is up to You to have FAITH! Satan is your savior (Temptation), passes Judgment onto god. So deceptive he will sometimes turn back to his original origin “An Angel of Light”.
Fear God... WHY?
Because when God showed signs & miracles, ”The Left Behind” created Religion. They said if you don’t go to church and pay us MONEY (the root of all evil) that you will go to hell. The church out of greed made its people go out and recruit new members for their religion and insist there religion is the right one. RELIGION has caused most Wars, Hatred, and Deaths!
