There is a good way to helpyourself lose weight. I used to be 5' 6" and weigh 215 lbs which is way too much i changed what i ate watched calories and started working out. A good healthy weight to lose per week is between 1 and 2 lbs. SImple method to do this if you want to coutn calories. Take your weight eg me 215 multiply by 10 2150 add 200 2350. There is the approxamate calories you need to maintain your current body weight. *not an exact method but good method to use* now to lose 1 lbs a week subtract about 430 calories from that taking me to 1920. If i eat 1920 calories a week and not work out i am set to lose abotu a lab a week as a lbs is 3000 calories. for two lbs subtract about 600-800 calories from the total bringing me to a ncie range of 1550-1750 calories a day now add in 45 mintues of cardio 3 times a week or 30 minutes 4-5 times or 10-20 minutes 5+ days a week. and you will be set up to lose 2lbs or maybe a bit more. Now for an extra boost, cut back on all fats but do not eliminate them eat more fruits drink 8 8oz glasses of water a day, eat whole grain wheats instead of enriched, and get three servings of dairy a day. You will be feeling much healthier in no time and see good reults.
