my sons dad died and i was wondering if he would be eligilble for social security....does anybody know the requirements to qualify?

Go to www.ssa.gov. and it will answer your questions regarding Social Security. It is their official site.

You can draw SS for him until he is 18. You don't say if you were married to him when he died, but you could possibly get a check for yourself also until he turns 18. Go to a Social Security office and apply.

yah ssa.gov will answer those questios u know this laws do change at times so to be current visit the site
