I like this one guy, and I know 2 people that are good friends with me and him. Both of them say "Just don't worry about it anymore" or "It's not worth your time." But the thing is, I think he is really interested in me, but shy and intimidated (I am a year and a half older). So, Should I give my crush up, or just ask him out? I mean, we don't talk a lot during the week because I am too scared to call him, and we talk occassionally through MySpace.

I actually meant him through some friends. I live in Philadelphia, and one of our things we are famous for are Mummers...and the one division is string bands. He is in one of them, and now I became friends with like half the band. I've only known him since November.

Hmm if you already talk sorta, then you should ask him out and see how he reacts to it. You can never really know whats gonna happen till you tell him. Like mention you heard this good movie was playing and ask him what hes doing one weekend and invite him to go see it with you or something. Where do you know him from? I had a crush once in high school and i told him that i liked him but he didnt feel the same way. I had him for ALL my classes but it wasnt as akward as i thought it would be. The worst thing that happend was that everytime i saw him my friends would smile and push me and he knew what they were smiling for. I say go for it.

age has nothing to do with it ! thats not 2many yrs between you! I don't think its your being older !! If he like you he would ask you out i would think!! He would let you know somehow if he liked you !
