Sweety, get a second opinion on this, I have never heard of this happening to anyone else and I do know several people who have had miscarriages. Go see a different doc, a gyno or whatever but don't listen to the one telling you this is normal because it isn't . Now I don't know why it would take this long to start menstrating after a miscarriage but I sure hope you find out soon.

First of all I just want to say that I am very sorry about your miscarriage. :( My mom had 7 miscarriages and it really upset her so I can imagine what you're going through.
If the doctor said that it's normal it probably is, but just in case I'd get a second opinion.

Are you very underweight? That can stop your period. And it is the pill you've come off, not the depo provera injection (that can take months to get back to normal from). Failing that I would ask to be referred to a consultant as they should be able to prescribe something to kick start your cycle again and they will also need to rule out a precocious (too early) menopause. (Very uncommon, so don't freak!).

Yes, it's normal that you're not getting your period. As long as you've been fully examined by a physician you have nothing to worry about. I think you should spend more time relaxing and less time worrying. When your body is ready to produce a menstrual cycle it will happen.

Did you have a D&C? if not, you may have retained some of the tissue. This is a problem and should be checked by a doctor ASAP!
