dont say "WE THE PEOPLE" because you are including all Americans in that statement. i am not asking him to resign his position. i know im gonna get an earful for saying this but i dont care. we are all entitled to our opinions and i respect your opinion. maybe you should say "AS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN I am asking you NICELY to Resign Your Position, PLEASE < find something HONORABLE to do, so that afterwards we can all love you as a fellow American Citizen."

You would be wasting your time. President George W. Bush bases his decisions on HIS feelings (although -- as a Conservative male -- he could never admit it), and you can't argue someone's feelings. You can't talk someone out of their feelings.
Feeling is a sentimental, affective function of the brain. It involves judging the value of things or having an opinion about them on the basis of one's likes and dislikes. REASONED world leaders left Saddam in power in Iraq for so long because it was unfortunately the lesser of two evils to do so. But GWB is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He did not understand the complex issues involved. He had to see for himself.
He was determined to invade Iraq no matter what. He will send 20,000 more troops no matter what. That is how he feels.
---------------------------------------
And, in discussing the threat posed by Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, Bush said: "After all, this is the guy who tried to kill my dad."

I made up my mind that Hussein needs to go. The policy of my government is that he goes.-- G. W. Bush

What good is a missive from "Invisable Patriots"? Im not against your reasoning, or even your right to send this, but I have problems with Invisable Patriots.
Seems to me the least a true Patriot can do is be visable and accountable for their view.

The problem with that, your not speaking for 'the people'. You are speaking from a certain group of people, that group being The Invisible Patriots. Speaking for 'the people' would be every citizen of the US. Not everyone agrees with your point of view so 'We The People' makes no sense.

I feel hopeful about how you feel. And I don't know why the democrats in congress are not offering him his resignation as part of the solution to the obscenity he's committed in Iraq.

I feel that you don't completely understand what is going on in the Middle East.(Iran is a big deal, and yes they are very involved in Iraq. If we lose it will be the biggest step towards World War III)
I also feel that you shouldn't say WE THE PEOPLE, because not everyone is on your side. I am one of them.

Sorry you feel that way.
Bush has done his best to do what's right. If so many hadn't shown their willingness to faulter upfront, we would have made much greater progress and probably be on our way out of Iraq. Oh well, why win a war when you can win an election instead. (Excuse me, is that a donkey, or just an ***...)

You have every right to write to whoever you want and say what ever you want. However, I disagree. But I suppose I don't have a right to do that, huh?

You might want to send him a video, or at least a cassette so he can understand you.
