suicide. He expressed his love and told me he didnt want to lose me. I find out the reason he was feeling this way was bc he got a onenight stand pregnant months bfr we met. I helped him come to terms he decided to want to meet his child & I told him he should be apart of the childs life.Well, he decided to remain friends w/ me until he figured how to deal with it all, but to hold on to "us". But I found out he was developing feelings for the mom and he got caught out. We had a huge blow out and exchanged very hurtful words and was cold and hurtful..we never did before. Then we spoke again and he said it was all uncalled for. Yet, I feel he wasn't sincere about it. He wasnt even able to speak to me on the phone for more then 2 min.Now he doesnt want to speak to me at all.All I wanted was to discuss the matter. His he feeling guilty, does he feel imperfect in my eyes now, so he is acting defensive?Did he really want me gone? Idont want him back, I just cant get how someone can be this way

He's a loser. You had extreme evidence of this. First, he gets another woman pregnant. Only losers do this. Yes. It does happen to normal men, especially when they foolishly hook up with a woman who isn't normal and gets pregnant on purpose. However, a man who gets a one night stand pregnant is doing it because of extreme irresponsibility.....one of the hallmarks of a loser. But, you had evidence way before then. He was "depressed" and thought of suicide. What is this except a man acting like a whipped dog, and wanting to lay down and die rather than to act like a man and impose his will on the situation until he makes it turn out alright. He hardly had something that was the end of the world and his response was to want to cash his chips in. That is the ultimate act of a loser. That's pathetic and you should have shown him the door back then.

Then, you go out of your way to act like a good partner to him and his response is to want to be apart from you. In case you didn't know, people tell their partners this when they want to sleep around with other people. The fact that he basically lied and gave the excuse of needing time to sort out his life (rather than be honest and say he wanted to screw that chick some more) makes him a loser with a capital L.

Why are you so surprised by this? Losers aren't just losers in one aspect of their lives but losers in ALL aspects of their lives. He is an inferior person and totally substandard as a mate and you stayed with him waaaaay longer than was healthy. A man like this does not stick with you through the bad times. He does not protect you from the bad things in this world. He gives nothing and wastes what you give him.

Learn to identify and get rid of guys like this early on. Focus on getting yourself a good man.

I say you should let him do what he wants, especially if he can get back together with this one-night stand for the sake of the baby. You can find someone else and, pretend your relationship could actually go all the way--that is, involve marriage--do you really want to deal with him having some other kid with a one-night stand? No matter how good he may be, he may be more trouble than it's worth.

I think he will always feel at least a little connected to her because she is the child's mother. Right now, he may just be confused. He probably didn't expect himself to begin to like her. I think you should hang in there a little while longer. If you see that he definitely goes back to her, then I guess it's a sad good-bye...

many times while a guy acts like that, he desires to end the dating. He does not decide to return mind-blowing out and say he does not decide to be with you, so somewhat he tries to furnish you motives to offload him so he's not a dink for dumping you.
