I have felt better for about 12 hours and have had some crackers, cream of wheat and a granola bar earlier today. Do you think it's over? I have emetophobia (fear of getting sick to my stomach) and I am so worried it will come back. I am even afraid to sleep tonight. :(

Since you have your phobia I think you should be extra cautious. keep taking the simple carbs for now: crackers, toast, noodles, for another day before you try "normal food. And wait until after a whole day of "normal food before you add back dairy, spicy/acidic foods, and whole grains

You can eat immediately after you feel like eating . However do the "nauli kriya" an yogic exercise everyday in the morning and this will prevent all stomach problems whole through your life.

I just got over having the stomach flu, when I did feel better, it was so hard for me to eat anything, nothing sounded good and I felt weak for lack of nutrition. Something is better than nothing. Just start with mild foods full of nutrients!
