You may have friends and it may be exciting but take it from my wife. She moved from a small boring nowhere to Manhattan. We are back in that small boring nowhere. The problem is unless you have an awesome paying job or have a rich family you worry more about getting food and paying bills than enjoying everything the city ha to offer. But She doesnt regret coming back. It is a place to grow. Make sure you have a plan and go. You only live once. Enjoy it. I dont want you to think that I am trying to persuade you not to go. I am just trying to get you informed

move to NYC and get unlimited long distance to MN. They are still your family if you live in NYC
