First of all, you are going to upset at least THREE individuals when you do this -- your Husband, the Ex, and the Child ... and yes, it will be difficult to deal with.
I would do the following: Since you think it is the Ex's Child -- file for Child Support (and identify the Ex as one of two possible Fathers for the child) with the state you live in. As part of establishing Child Support, they will require that a Paternity Test be done -- and that test will be paid by you/the potential fathers ... The appointment will be set, you need to be there with the child (on time!), and the potential fathers too.
This is the most affordable way I know of to establish paternity for a child.
You know, HONESTY is the best policy -- and yes, you may also need some help -- most likely -- through some sort of marital counseling session and with the help of a marital therapist. That would be the least confrontational way of finding out this "news" and then help would be available to your Husband at this time right there (and he is DEFINITELY Going to need it!).

Do you mean how to tell him your daughter is not his? If this is what you mean then you really need to be sure this is the right thing to do. Look at the depth and connection of there relationship and how your news could effect this. This is about more than you, seeing you are requiring a paternity test it seems you still are not quite sure about who exactly her father is. I hope you have support for the backlash you are about to receive because after you drop this bombshell then your life is about to change dramatically. If there is no real need to find out who the father is then best leave it, you did the deed you carry the consequences, why alter there relationship after all one does not have to be a blood father to be a father. Your daughter will lose out the most here. Consider her welbeing if you must go through with this

Don't tell him... Who cares for her? Who's supports her? Who loves her? That other guy won't ever be able to be the father he is...Are you willing to chance it and lose that??as far as i know paternity test need to be done at a office,...try a planned parenthood, they may know better

It comes with once you marry a guy with a previous. Sorry, he has childrens with them, you in basic terms isn't rid of her. the different, in basic terms does no longer have a existence. Ignoring them makes you seem stupid; although stupid 'self belief' is warranted: He has remained with you and by no ability them for the in basic terms right 5 years. cool down with each episode of annoyance.

Unless you are doing it for health reasons, I would not say anything.
Is your ex still around? Is he interested? You would have to have him supply his body fluid to compare. If he shows no interest, let it go because you may get him interested and create more trouble.

Wow, no offense, but it sounds like something from the Maury Povich Show. Maybe you should try his website.

What? Are you asking how to tell him that you aren't sure if it's his? If he's been acting like a father, and taking care of her, why does it matter?
