One of my friends told me that if you take too many laxitives to try to get skinny that was part of being bulimic. If that's the condition do you have to be fat? What if your fat and taking too many pills, does that make a person bulimic? I'm confused!!!

bulimia is an eating disorder that includes eating alot and then vomiting, taking laxatives, or over exercising. a person doesnt have to be fat to have it. they can just believe that they are fat. Too many pills is dangerous. it doesnt make a person bulimic but it could be part of the symptoms. anyone who has these symptoms should see a doctor as soon as possible. your body must have certain nutrients to work properly and keep you alive and healthy. this condition can kill a person.

Bulimia is a sickness that involves a person not liking their body. They usually "binge and purge" which means eat sooo much food then throw it all up. Whereas an anorexic will not eat at all and if they do eat it has little to no calories...water, diet pop, celery and lettuce.
