膽 - courage, bravery
識 - discriminating, know, write

Together: Courage and Wisdom

(by the way, is that you in the other pictures? You are (or he is) hot.)

It is written in traditional Chinese and is used in Hong-Kong and Macau for instance.

In simplified Chinese it is :

胆 / 膽 : dǎn meaning courage
识 / 識 : shí meaning to know

The two together means courage.

courage in traditional characters
I think you are mistaking the character for moon for the 'flesh' radical....it's a common error...but moon isn't used as a radical.
