I have read a lot about that lately with the study of old folks and altheimers (sp?)
you can always exercise your brain, its a muscle after all and they've proven that it can keep on regenerating and creating new connects..
Do anything that is out of your norm for thinking. Walk backwards down your hall to the bathroom. Take a book, newspaper or anything and read from right to left instead of left to right. Count backwards by 5's, 2's, etc.. Say your ABC/s backwards from Z to A.. (its not as easy as you think) if you are right handed, try writing with left hand for a bit. Do some crossword puzzles.. When you do something normally, stop and contemplate it.. Try next time you eat to consciously chew like 20 times before swallowing, try to think about the taste.. Anything that will make you use your mind more.. causes it to grow.. and will help memory ultimately

If you are young, like under 35, I really would suggest seeing your doctor. It is not normal for memory loss at that age unless you were a drug abuser at some time in your life. You also should be checked by a doc because it could be something that is going on in your brain.... and it's better to catch it early and the lack of recollection can be one of the first signs----call your doc and have him give you a check up, if everything is ok, he can recommend some health foods that can improve your memory...good luck to you.

This is not exactly remedy sort, but what I do is make a memory object, by focusing on something that I see during certain conversation/Studies/ or listening, referring to song during studies to bring the song is easier in mind brings in the whole answer/ Conversation.

Also I realize Almonds with milk are good for memory.

That depends, sometimes you might need vitamins and medication. Check with doctor for that.

There are vitamins you can buy over the counter that aid in memory, the first three that come to mind would be ginseng, ginko bilboa (which is used to treat alzheimer's disease) and fatty acid fish oil.

Another thing to improve memory is to excercise it. Remember that old children't game, Memory?

I shouldn't advise you since I'm not a Doctor but I do feel you should see a Doctor. You could have a number of things that he can help you with.

You didn't state your age. Age has a lot to do with memory loss.
