It's going to be a little blurry until it heals fully. It's perfectly normal. Just make sure that you follow your tattooists care instructions to the letter.
Hope this helps and good luck!

If you get a tattoo that is scaled too small for the amount of detailing and/or color in it, then the colors will blend into a mush over time since all tattoos spread to some extent. This process is sped up when people insist on getting a tattoo that is too small to support the features within the design.

I would believe so as mine only took an hour (lower back) and it ached for at least a day afterward.. With yours being on your stomach (which is an extemely sensitive area) and lasting 4 hours+, I would imagine the pain will not subside for quite some time. If it is merely throbbing as opposed to gut wrenching (where you can't even sit up or breathe) then give yourself a couple of more days before contacting your GP (or tattooist) to check it out for infection. Swelling and redness is of course normal however don't forget, our bodies all react differently, have different levels of tolerance and pain thresholds! Good Luck

It could be normal. Let it fully heal and then see what it looks like. If its still dull and blotchy consider getting the color re-filled. It doesn't hurt as bad as when you get the actual tattoo done! Good luck!

do you have a picture of it? it's hard to tell by your description. it could be that it's just not healed yet and the scab looks blotchy. you'll need to wait until it is completely healed before you'll know if you got a good tattoo or not. it is quite possible that your tattoo artist was not a very good one and messed up your skin. if that is the case then i am sorry and you'll need to go somewhere else to have it fixed.

there is definately a lot of misinformation on yahoo about tattoos, since 99 percent of the people answering are not in the tattoo industry, and half of those don't even have tattoos. so come on people. if you don't know don't answer! man i forgot what your question was! give it a few days. if it gets worse go to a doctor or e.r. they will give you a 20 dollar prescription for some antibiotics. you may have gotten dust or paper particles in it or possibly even powder from the artists gloves. never go back to the shop with a bad tattoo for advice. they are artists not skin specialists (most of the time, unfortuantely. they should be a little educated like myself however)

as long as you got it at a clean reputable shop you should be fine usually tattoos take 2-3 weeks for the tattoo to fully heal. Once this happens the colors and details become more vivid and clear. I wouldnt worry just continue to take care of it

yea its normal.....you usually have to get them touched up a few months after you get one.....and also if it hasnt scabbed over and flaked off yet that could be why it looks like taht.....if its not clear within the next month just go back in 3-6 months and have the touch it up...most places will for free.....

it could be scabbing over. If it still looks this way after another week or two. Go back and have it looked at. If something is wrong they can fix it.
