Who is to say that evolution is not the process of creation? If you make a chart of evolution and a chart of the Genesis version of creation, they occur in the same sequence with one - and only one exception. In Genesis, whales are created with the fish where as biologically they are considered mammals. That, sequentially, is the only difference. Genesis says the waters gave forth life, evolution says life originated in water, etc. If you ask, "what about the seven days versus the millions of years," then I would answer there are many scriptures which say or otherwise indicate that God does not mark time the same way we do. For example, 2 Peter 3:8 says, "With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day."

I sort of believe in both. I believe that God created the heavens and the Earth. The way I believe in Evolution is that Evolution is changes that happen over a long period of time. But I don't believe that humans evolved from monkeys or that every living creature once started out as some sort of primordial goo. So you would probably call me a creationist, which is a OK with me.

Evolution - purely the undesirable christians do not now!! The Pope, Catholic Church, Church of england and mainstream churches all settle for evolution and the huge bang!! Lord Carey the former Archbishop of Canterbury positioned it o.k. – “Creationism is the fruit of a fundamentalist attitude to scripture, ignoring scholarship and severe discovering, and perplexing different understandings of certainty”!!
