Till they are two years. That's about when they will settle down and also stop growing. You should avoid any strenuous activity such as agility before that time in order to allow their ones to settle.

They are usually an adult dog by 3 1/2 or 4. I mean think about it at 1 X 7(dog years) they are only 7 yr. in human. 2 X 7 they are 14 and three is 21 most people are usually not considered mature until 23-25. I know it a dog not people but by the time the dog is 3 1/2 to 4 it wil be around 30 human.
If you mean breeding the latest you can breed a lab is 5 yrs after that then it is dangerous to their health. In humans they do say that after 35 health hazards can go up for you and your baby.

It takes large breed dogs approx. two years to physically mature. Within the first year they'll reach there maximum height and during the next year the dog with fill out. Mentally all dogs mature at a different rate. I have a 9 year old who still acts like a pup.

From experience, they go through a very long puppy/chew stage. My 3 didn't settle down until they were nearly 3. Good luck.
