I tried plugging in the usb cable included, but i dont know what program to go to or whatever to save the videos on the computer and watch them.
I dont know if this is important or not but its a Canon digital video camcorder. 24600.

when you plug it up with your USB try looking in your "my computer" folder and your video camera should have popped up a folder in the hard drives section. Then you can go thru the proper procedures to copy it. if it came with a CD check and see if the installation CD had a program for transfering files already on it. Some do and some don't, either way your computer should register the camera when you plug it in, whether there is software for it on your computer or not. (for most newer windows, it automatically installs if you don't do it manually with a cd and it should pop open a folder in "my computer". It might say something like "the name of your camera" or "external device" or something related to the camera files.
