Ten years is nothing in this day and age. I think if he loves you and vice versa he would be a fool to move on to the unknown. Although it is not advertised many older women are marrying younger men these days. With hair dyes and the pursuit of youth by going to the gym etc age is not obvious like it once was and women outlive men anyway so when you think about it this is a perfect set up.

Two of the happiest marriages I know of there is 12 years difference in one, and 14 years difference in the other-the women both the older. Each couple has been married for many years.

My bf is 31, I'm 43. We're getting married this year. If he moves on it won't be because of the age difference. It's nothing but a number!

Age doesn't matter at all while you are still relatively young but when he's 60 and you are 75 or older it will slow down his action with you and he'll be looking to other sources of entertainment.

Not at all! 40 is the new 20! You probably look 20 if you've got a younger man. So go out and live it up.

He will move on....
I was married to a guy that was almost 11 years younger than me and we ended up in divorce. He slept with a friend of mine and had no reason to because we had a great sex life. So good luck, keep him as a lover not a husband.

If he suddenly gets all paternal like ....he is out of there. Of Course older men marry young women for the same reason.

For the love of Pete.
Are you freakin serious?
Do you honestly think... I mean think of all your friends and aquaintances... that we can assume from "in his 30's" and "in your 40's" that we can make any kind of rational answer to this question?!?!? That sums the 2 of you up?
Please...

Darn it! Where is Miss Cleo when we need her? You know what, you can just wait and see- because not even the greatest scientists can answer that.

hard call - depends on the pair of you. for some it works for, for others it doesn't. i knwo just as many that have suceeded as failed - depends on the commitment and level of the relationship, and why you're both in it.
