Why would they need to cross in 10 minutes if they all got across in 17 ?
If they want to they could push Donna over the side for being so slow.

take Donna and Ann cross first (means 10 mins) cos Ann will take less mins than Donna, so its it will add up 10 mins..
Then take Bob with Charles,, Charles takes 5 mins, Bob just 2 minst, total of 5 mins....
those 2 groups cost 15 mins in total.... thats less than 17 mins, can give Ann alone to go back and return with Donna biggy undies...
